Born Ali Owolabi Quadri, Hally Q grew up listening to music of the likes
of Fela, 2face and Saheed Osupa. In 2001, he formed up a group known as
BTB ( Big Time Brothers) made up of himself, Shamellon and Dejavu. He
left the group later to pursue a solo career.Hally Q was Born and Breed in Ebute Metta area of Lagos, was born in the Early 90’s and he started music in his tender age while still in secondary school.
The name Hally Q was coined out from his surname Ali and the initial of his first name Quadri,he has done so many collaborations and still counting with underground and established Nigerian acts likeSeriki, Konga, Tupengo , Kmoney, Wyte Aremu and many more. Hope to still work with the likes of 9ice,Olamide, Wizkid and Davido and many more.
